Our Mission in Nutrition

As a complimentary treatment to adjustments and therapies received by Dr. Wolff, nutritional therapy will be recommended when thought possible to better help the patient by attacking the source of the ailment and not just masking the problem, thereby promoting our vision of “Wellness-driven Healthcare”.

When most of us think about nutrition, we basically think of the foods we eat on a daily basis and how they help our bodies. But there are so many points outside of that box that are constantly overlooked. Nutrition is vitally important in our daily diets and PROPER nutrition is even better. If we don’t get the proper vitamins, minerals, amino acids and such, then our bodies cannot perform properly. When we lack in nutrition, our bodies let us know. It may turn up as a constant headache, you may have cramps in different parts of your body, you may develop osteoporosis, your vision could blur and you could even go blind, your hair can become brittle – even lose it’s color – and your skin may become very dry, women may develop irregular menstrual cycles or difficult to cure yeast infections, joints may become arthritic and ache, you could end up with periodontal disease, or even develop difficult issues with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). There’s so much that can happen to our bodies with the lack of proper nutrition. However, getting that proper nutrition is not as easy as it sounds. In a world full of fast food restaurants at every corner and busy schedules, who has time for proper nutrition? Most of us are lucky if we even have a minute to ourselves during the day.

Most of us forget that there are such things as multi-vitamins, amino acids, minerals and many other supplements out there that can help fill in the gaps. And not only do they help fill in the gaps, but they can actually make us happier and healthier. In the context of nutrition and chiropractics, we not only offer nutritional consultations to help you fill in those gaps, but we use nutrition therapeutically. That is, to help heal a specific ailment. All complimentary to the adjustments and treatments you receive from Dr. Wolff. You won’t be given a prescription medication, in our office, to mask the symptoms of whatever ailment it is that causes your discomfort, but you may be recommended a natural supplement that could possibly relieve whatever ails you, altogether, and without any added side effects. In this office, we don’t like to hand out band-aids, we like to figure out the root of the source and treat that so that you can heal faster, with longer lasting, positive effects and get back to your life.
